A long way to Main Street, Clarion.
After moving to the United States from South Africa and owning a locker in Ventura, Iowa, owners Manie and Elmarie Nel were interested in expanding their business. When the opportunity to re-open the locker in Clarion arose, they did not pass it up.
They started out as a Custom Processing Facility, became an Officially Inspected Processing Facility in 2013, and in 2020 expanded from an 8,000 sq. ft. to a 16,000 sq. ft. facility. Over the years they have won several awards at the Iowa Meat Processors Association’s Convention and Trade Show for their in-house handmade products featuring original recipes.
